Teaching methods are adopted to suit each individual´s needs. I take a lively and enthusiastic approach to teaching. Young children are encouraged to learn through games. Parents of young beginners are recommended to sit in during the first few lessons in order to help the child with home practise.
The course consists of 15 classes 45 minutes each and is suitable for complete beginners. Lessons take place weekly. The classes consist of a maximum of 4 children.
The aims of the course are to develop note reading and writing in treble and bass cleff, rhythm reading and playing, aural training, ear-training, correct posture in playing the piano, correct hand position and touch and expanding general musicianship.
As a result the children gain better understanding of music in general whilst shearing the experience of enjoying music with children of similar age. The learning process is implemented in a friendly and fun environment.
